KOMBINE
KOMBINE – Community-Based Physical Activity Promotion to Implement National Recommendations
Background
The European Union and the World Health Organization recommend the development of national recommendations to promote a physically active lifestyle for the whole population.
In Germany, National Recommendations for Physical Activity and Physical Activity Promotion were first developed and disseminated in 2016.
As part of the project KOMBINE (Community-based physical activity promotion for the implementation of the National Recommendations) these National Recommendations are to be implemented in the local community.
KOMBINE aims to develop and evaluate a concept for community-based physical activity promotion. By focusing on people with social disadvantages the project contributes to an improvement in health equity.
