The University of Erlangen-Nuernberg is part of a huge international network and maintains close ties with 500 partner universities in 62 countries. Research staff from Erlangen and Nuremberg work closely with leading universities throughout the world in more than 130 research cooperations. The University of Erlangen-Nuernberg is one of the most attractive German universities for visiting academics from abroad. Every year more and more Humboldt scholars and prize-winning researchers choose this Northern Bavarian University as their research base. Amongst the range of its foreign contacts, the University’s ties with the Far East are particularly intensive.
The University’s Central Office of International Affairs and the Studentenwerk (Student Services) provide extensive support and information for international students. Some of the issues addressed are:
